Arab world's first Olympic medal


Al Attiyah claimed Qatar's first medal of the 2012 Olympics.
Qatar's Nasser Al Attiyah wins Arab world's first medal of the Olympic Games at London 2012 Olympics. He wins Bronze Medal in the Men’s Skeet shooting competition at the Royal Artillery Barracks.  His bronze medal is just Qatar's third ever at the Olympics and first the tiny Gulf kingdom has won since the Sydney Games in 2000 when Said Saif Asaad also zone bronze in the weightlifting.

Highest olympic medals holder



Michael Phelps has reached the new landmark to win 19 medals in Olympic games on Day 4 of the London 2012 Olympic at the Aquatics .  Now he is the highest Olympic medals holder  in any sport at the Olympics. Phelps is now the owner of 15 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. Larisa Semyonovna Latynina, Soviet gymnast,  is now second highest Olympic medals holder who holds 18 medals and still holds the record for most individual Olympic medals in Olympic history.

Yana Shemyakina of Ukraine wins gold medal on London 2012 Olympic on Day 3  in the women's Epee Individual Fencing final  defeating Britta Heidemann of Germany.

Federer seeking Olympic success

 Roger Federer is the alltime best tennis player who become champion in all types of tennis tournament except Olympic Game. He is the only man who wins 16 grand slams, but unfortunately still now he have no Olympic gold medal. He performed his best in Sydney 2000 Olympic, in that season he confirmed 4th place in tennis tournament. The Swiss legend won gold in the doubles in Beijing in 2008, but has never been on the top of the medals podium in singles.
